OUTDOOR PLAY PARKS:

During the summer of 2018, LSFMC had two outdoor play park areas installed within the village. The playparks are independently inspected once a year by Wicksteed Leisure, however they are also inspected on a quarterly basis by our Grounds Maintenance Manager. These areas have been a great success for the families of Little Stanion with children and there are continually used year-round daily.

OUTDOOR GYM AREAS:

In September 2019, LSFMC had two outdoor gym equipment areas installed within the village. The gym equipment is independently inspected once a year by Wicksteed Leisure, however they are also internally inspected on a quarterly basis by our Grounds Maintenance Manager. This has added to the facilities available in the village and they do see regular use by the residents of Little Stanion.

HAND SANITISER STATIONS:

In the summer of 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, LSMFC made the decision to install automatic touch free hand sanitiser stations at both of the playparks and both of the outdoor gym equipment areas. These will now be a permanent feature as it is now more important than ever to maintain hygiene in these areas. The sanitiser dispensers are checked daily and are topped up if and when required by our Grounds Maintenance Manager.
